I trained as a figurative sculptor but have developed many ways of working since then. I do mostly work in 3D using clay,plaster,cement and willow combined with other materials.

My own work is often inspired by natural forms and is also informed by the images of my inner world and day dreams. I have recently studied Art Therapy (Foundation Cert.) which is an area I find really interesting and which has influenced my work as a Community artist.

I have taught art and sculpture to a wide range of community groups for the last 14 years and have been involved in Liskeard Lights Up for the last 5 years. The amazing annual lantern procession runs from the Liskerrett and Sue Field  (textile artist) and I go into lots of local schools and groups to help them make their own lanterns so that they can take part in the procession. 

I am available to teach groups and individuals and have recently started an Art for well being group at the studio.
