Beginners and improvers are welcome on these painting workshops, taking inspiration from the Caradon Hill Area, exploring atmosphere, weather and seasonal change using a range of different painting techniques to express texture, light and colour.

Session One - (Friday 4th October) From Photograph to Painting

Learn how to be selective in your compositions. Create a painting expressing atmosphere and mood depicting the light, colour and tone seen in your photograph. Please feel free to bring along your own photographs for this session.

Session Two - (Friday 11th October) The Bigger Picture

During this session you will be able to choose to paint a panoramic view as a loose large painting or a small intimate image (wildlife close up) on a large scale.

Another fantastic opportunity to learn to paint with an experienced local painting teacher.

This course is being subsidised by Caradon Hill Area Heritage Project. Each day course costs just £5.00 per session, and includes materials, and tea and coffee throughout the day.
