The Day of Words - Saturday 10th March at Greenbank Community Church Hall, Greenbank Road, Liskeard  10.30am-3pm Entry by donation

The Day of Words celebrates the written word, the drawn word, the meaning of words and the playfullness of words. Local writers and history groups are getting involved alongside a children's storyteller, so pop in for 5 minutes or stay for 3 hours to browse, play, listen and read, munch an edible poetry cake. Children welcome and refreshments available.

The Exhibition - March 12th -17th Stuart House - Donation

An exhibition of original photos, paintings and artwork inspired by the Festival

The Reading Room - Friday 16th March at the Liberal Club 11am-1pm Book Swap 2-4pm

Supported by The Bookshop, Liskeard. Come and share your new writing followed by a book swap with delicious cakes to be eaten.

Around the Town - Fun photograph competition March 5th - 17th

Forty 8 inch high images plus two full size images of real people will appear in the shops and businesses of Liskeard. Join in the competition to find 'Liskeard's Most Wanted' to discover who they are and where they are.

Hat's Off to Liskeard - Saturday 17th March 10am-1pm

Join traders and friends in town for coffee or lunch or just promenade in your favourite hat.

The Big Celebration - Saturday 17th March at Liskeard's Public Hall 7.30-10.30pm. Tickets £6.50 or £4.50, 18 and under £2.00

A fantastic night of performance by Vital Spark participants. Also appearing are the fabulous Cornwall Youth Dance with a newly created performance, and international performance poet Sally Crabtree with the Cabinet of Curiosities. Dance the rest of the night away to the foot stomping music of 13 strong gypsy beat band The Klezbians.
