Liskerrett Community Centre is pleased to be supporting the third Vital Spark Festival running from January to March 2013 in Liskeard. Pictured opposite are some of the events from last years Festival.
This year, our Festival Fortnight runs from 1st - 16th March 2013, and is an opportunity to showcase all that has been inspired, and to celebrate the enormous amount of talent we have in our local area.

Friday 1st March
A Walk on the Wild Side
Let local talent take you for a walk on the wild side in this evening of original performance and live music created especially for The Vital Spark. Liskerrett Community Centre

Liskeard Promenade- Start at Stuart House
Horrible Histories meets Henry Rice and the Book of Nuisances. Liskeard's Fabulous Promenade Show aimed at the under 12's and their families takes you on a journey around town and through history. Wear warm, waterproof clothing as much of the play is outside.

Sunday 3rd March
Jazz Band Workshop run by Lewis Riley
Develop and play jazz, blues, rock and funky numbers arranged and conducted by celebrated jazz musician Lewis Riley. A great chance to improvise and meet other musicians.
COST: £20 (artists, photgraphers and writers invited to make a donation to Vital Spark) Venue: St Pinnock Band Community Hall in East Taphouse from 11am to 5pm

'Put on the Ritz' in Liskeard town centre. Stylish goings on, dancers, performers and singers about town. Dress up, come in for coffee or a stylish shop - top hats/ glam dresses and bling would be great. Adding to the fun - a stylish launch of Story Republic, an exciting new writing project (find out more at www.keap.org.uk)
