Sixty years after she fled Vienna during World War II, an elderly Jewish woman, Maria Altmann, starts her journey to retrieve family possessions seized by the Nazis, amongst them Klimt's famous painting 'The Lady In Gold'.

Together with her inexperienced lawyer, Randy Schoenberg, she embarks upon a major battle which takes them all the way to the heart of the Austrian establishment and the US Supreme Court, and forces her to confront difficult truths about the past along the way.

This screening will be the hundredth film Liskerrett Community Cinema has screened since its inception in September 2007. Please join us for some pre-film celebratory cake.

The film will be screened twice, at 2.30pm and 7.30pm. The 2.30pm screening will be with sub-titles.
