To celebrate National Playday, Liskerrett Community Centre, Liskerrett Pre-school, Liskeard Children’s Centre and Louise School of Dance are all joining together to create a day packed with fun and play activities for everyone to enjoy and you are invited to join in.

There will be an under fives play area, open art studios, music, storytelling, stalls and a range of activities for all ages. The Hub café will be open throughout providing refreshments and delicious meals and our IT suite will also be open (free use of computers) So come along and make a day of it. Have a look round and see what we do.

Also, if you would like to have your own stall to raise funds, these are available at a cost of £5.00. Or perhaps you would like a display stand to promote your own group or organisation. For further information and to book your stall, leave your details at reception or telephone 01579 340307.

We are also looking for volunteers to join us to help in the garden and with events and fundraising, and as new trustees. So if you are interested come along. We look forward to seeing you there!

And if you enjoy gardening and would like to enjoy fresh produce and meet new friends, why not join our informal gardening group on Wednesday evenings from 6-8pm. The first session will be on 13th August and will include a barbecue. Bring along something to cook and enjoy with the fresh produce from the garden.
