Wunderkammer, a dark comedy, is Wild Oaks' debut feature length production.

Jim finds himself in a dilapidated room with only memories of a fraught relationship plaguing his mind and a heap of random items. Convinced that there has to be more to his life, perhaps even a time when he was happy, Jim starts to interact with these items. As he does so a tangle of memories comes flooding back which reveal the moving story that brought him to this odd room. But the brain is a mysterious thing...

'Wild Oak' is an up-and-coming theatre company based in Liskeard, Cornwall. They develop new, exciting work, primarily through devising and thorough research. Headed by Jimmy Addy and Allan Neve, two young enthusiastic practitioners who hope to make their artisitic visions come to life on the stage, creating something innovative and entertaining in equal measure.

'Wunderkammer' fuses both satirical and downright absurd comedy, physical theatre and puppetry alongside perception changing philosophical theory to tell this moving yet humorous story. We can guarantee this will have you laughing out loud, holding back a tear and racking your brain all the way home.
