Lyskerrys, the community journal for Liskeard invites you to 'Connect and Create' with a cuppa and cake.

Come and join in a free, fun, informal session with Lyskerrys Magazine editor Jackie Butler.

Find out about the ideas, the articles and the pictures we use, how we put the magazine together, and how you could get involved.

You don't need any previous experience or qualifications to take part - just an interest in sharing stories about our town and its people.

Its a great opportunity to meet new people and, if you want to, there's a chance to pick up new skills or get support finding a new career path.

If you have a tale to tell and don't know where to start, come along to one (or both) of our sessions.

Next session Monday 24th February from 6.30 to 8.30pm.

Or if you prefer an evening Monday 24th February from 6.30 - 8.30pm.

Both sessions are at Liskerrett Community Centre, and the sessions will continue twice monthly with one morning and one evening session.

There will be opportunities to contribute to the magazine as community journalists, with guidance from Jackie. It will also be possible to arrange one to one sessions for individuals who show a particular interest.
